Active ingredient:
contains 250g/L azoxystrobin
Mode of action:
Azoxystrobin is part of a class of chemicals known as ß-methoxyacrylates, which are derived from the naturally-occurring compounds (strobilurins), which are produced by several species of Basidiomycete fungi, which grow on decaying wood.
Strobilurins are “Quinone Outside Inhibitors”. They prevent the respiration of fungi due to the disruption of electron transport chain, preventing ATP synthesis.
Features:
Azoxystrobin is currently the only fungicide able to protect against all four major groups of fungal diseases:
- Ascomycetes (eg: powdery mildew)
- Basdiomycetes (eg: rusts and smut)
- Deuteromycetes (eg: early blight and rice blight)
- Oomycetes (eg: downy mildew and pythium)
package:
- 200 cm
- 1 L
