REON

A unique and patented starch-based soil amendment that absorbs water and releases it back to plants when needed.

Content: REON starch-based super absorbant t is made up of glucose molecules that are linked together in a patented process to become a water-insoluble net-like matrix that loosely holds and releases water for use by plants as needed.

Product features:

• REON is consumed in the soil over time by microbial activity, helping to maintain a healthy soil environment.
• Organically-based product, made from cornstarch, leaves no residues in the soil.
• Absorbs in excess of 400 times its own weight in water, and will hydrate and re-hydrate over its useful life of approximately one year (depending on soil type, moisture and temperature).
• Helps reduce leaching and keeps water-soluble fertilizers in the root zone where plants can use it.
• Increases soil porosity for improved movement of water and oxygen.

How it works:

The immense size and weight of its molecular structure sets REON apart. These anionic units are able to absorb almost 400 times their original weight. The granules slowly release just the right amount of encapsulated moisture in response to plant root suction. The granules easily

rehydrate and store more water as moisture enters the soil. This process is repeated over a growing season
